2 days (9-10, March 2022) residential program for undergraduate students of St Jude Arts and Science College, Villarikundu is offered under CSR by VJCRS, VJIM. This 2days residential camp is aimed to impart essential employability skill for the undergraduate students. It has hands on sessions of mentoring, CV building, interpersonal-professional skills development, interviews, GD, etc. Faculty from Vimal Jyothi Engineering College and VJIM are the resource persons for the sessions. Student mentors from VJCRS, VJIM are supporting this training camp.

A weeks Hands on training on Data analysis and ICT tool were scheduled from 7th Jan 2022. The program covers the training on ICT tools, Excel spreadsheet analysis and SPSS. The program is arranged in distributed manner to ensure the deep learning with practicals.

5days Social sensitization (Gramadharshan-2021) residential camp conducted from 26th November to 30th November 2021. The residential camp was organized in association with NGO TSSS, Malabar Cancer Center, OISCA international, Charis school, Mattrara parish and Ulickal Gramapanchatath (LSG). Students of 2020-22 batch conducted cancer survey, facilitated cancer awareness program for the public, cleaned the river from plastic wastes and supported the sustainable agriculture for the Charis School, Mattara

The first project under the VJ Consultancy and Research Service (VJCRS) was the 'Census data Collection and Analysis' of the Archdiocese of Thalassery and the project is almost completed. Our students and allocated staff of VJCRS could support the framing of the survey, questionnaire testing and tool development, enumerator training in multi-staged manner, data collection and its analysis. The Web app was developed by the VJEC Team and successfully deployed. We have collected the data from around 2,40,000 members from 56300 families spread across Kannur and Kasaragod revenue districts. The final analysis is to be completed. The appreciation of the grand success of the project and the award distribution for the supporters will take place on 27th March, 2021 at 12.50pm at Varikattu Hall, after the photo session of the Passing out ceremony.
