The admission to MBA (Full Time) programme (2020-22 batch) of Vimal Jyothi Institute of Management & Research (VJIM) is in progress. Candidates can attend the pre-admission process and the details are available from college office. Final admission will be confirmed as per the directions of the Admission Supervisory Committee [ASC] and Fee Regulatory Committee [FRC], Govt. of Kerala.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme are required to have obtained a Bachelors degree (under 10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline recognized by Kannur University with 50% marks in aggregate. However, candidates belonging to other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Those belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes having secured a pass in the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the course. Reservation of seats will be as per the existing university rules.
Students who are in the final year of any Under Graduation can also apply for the programme, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions.
The admission procedure at VJIM is as per the AICTE and ASC-Govt. of Kerala directions. Admission is based on score of the valid Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview with a weightage of 80:10:10 respectively. Rank list will be published as per the norms and admission will be on the basis of eligibility.
Admission for MBA at VJIM will be on the basis of a valid score in KMAT/ C-MAT/CAT and carries 80% weightage for getting admitted to the programme. A brief description of the accepted entrance tests are mentioned below.
On receipt of the filled in applications, candidates may be called for a personal interview to assess their potentiality for management studies. Personal Interview aims at understanding and knowing them better. Academic track records of the candidates, relevant work experiences, business awareness, affinity for the management profession etc will be observed.

Interview call will be initiated from the office or communicated through the media.
In the Group Discussion candidate will be assessed on Communication skill, Leadership skill, ability to work in a team, Initiation, assertiveness, flexibility, creativity and ability to think on ones feet.
