NAAC Peer team visited (19th to 20th May 2022) our campus to access the qualitative metrics submitted. The 3 member team consists of Dr P Subramanya Yadapadhithya (Chairman & VC of Manglore University), Dr Muhammed Althaf Khan ( Member coordinator & Professor of Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi) and Dr Balakrishnan Hariharan (Principal, Sankara College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore). The NAAC peer Visit report was handed over to Dr Genimon V Joseph, Vakakkemulanjanal (Principal) and Dr Anoop Scaria (IQAC Coordinator) at the exit meeting
Dr (Fr) Genimon V Joseph, Vadakkemulanjanal is appointed as Principal of Vimal Jyothi Institute of Management and Research, Chemperi. He is the third principal of the Institute. VJIM wishes all the best and extend its support.
2 days (9-10, March 2022) residential program for undergraduate students of St Jude Arts and Science College, Villarikundu is offered under CSR by VJCRS, VJIM. This 2days residential camp is aimed to impart essential employability skill for the undergraduate students. It has hands on sessions of mentoring, CV building, interpersonal-professional skills development, interviews, GD, etc. Faculty from Vimal Jyothi Engineering College and VJIM are the resource persons for the sessions. Student mentors from VJCRS, VJIM are supporting this training camp.

3 Days (5-7 March 2022) certification program on Digital Marketing/SMM was conducted for final years (2020-22 batch MBA). The program was organized by VJCRS and conducted by ICT academy Trivandrum.

Placement and soft skill training for the final years is scheduled from 8 Jan- 10th, 2022 Resource person: Muhammad Ikon, Mentor and skill trainer Place of training: VJIM and VJEC campus
A weeks Hands on training on Data analysis and ICT tool were scheduled from 7th Jan 2022. The program covers the training on ICT tools, Excel spreadsheet analysis and SPSS. The program is arranged in distributed manner to ensure the deep learning with practicals.
Combined Christmas celebration was conducted on 23rd Dec, 2021. The event was coordinated by student team from 2020-22 and 2021-23 batch.
2days Induction program for the freshers (2021-23 batch) is conducted from 1 Dec to 2nd Dec, 2021. The career guru and mentor Mr Prasidh Prakash provided the induction training and professional grooming for the first year students.
5days Social sensitization (Gramadharshan-2021) residential camp conducted from 26th November to 30th November 2021. The residential camp was organized in association with NGO TSSS, Malabar Cancer Center, OISCA international, Charis school, Mattrara parish and Ulickal Gramapanchatath (LSG). Students of 2020-22 batch conducted cancer survey, facilitated cancer awareness program for the public, cleaned the river from plastic wastes and supported the sustainable agriculture for the Charis School, Mattara
Onam celebration conducted on September 4th at 10am on virtual mode. Varieties of competitions and programs were organized.
