Mr Pratyaya Chatterjee, Country manufacturing & logistic Leader in WABCO INDIA Ltd, Chennai addressed the 2015-17 batch. He explained the HR scenario of the corporate world and shared his vast experience with the students.
One week Industrial Visit is conducted for the 2014-16 Batch MBA students at Hyderabad from Sept 9 to 17th, 2015. This visit to BHEL, Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Plants, Industry interactions, Retail Mall formats, lectures etc created an awareness of production and marketing functions of the business.
Grand inauguration of the 6th MBA batch is conducted on Sept 7th, 2015. The function was presided over by our chairman Rev. Rev. Fr Jinu Vadakkemulnajanal, Administrator of the Institute is appointed as the Director in Charge of the VJIM by the Chairman Rev. Fr Geo Pulickal. He will be in charge from Sept 1st 2015 till the joining of the new Director Dr Thomas Michael.

Director of the VJIM, Dr George AP has completed his tenure and the whole Vimal Jyothi MBA Family gathered on Aug18th, 2015 to bid him farewell. He was the first Director of the VJIM, associated with the organization even before the establishment and was instrumental for the all the development till the time. The Vimal Jyothi Family places its heartfelt appreciation for the committed service rendered for the development of the institute to the present level. Onam was celebrated to inculcate the fraternal spirit among the Vimal Jyothi Family on Aug 21st, 2015. The function was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Geo Pulickal- Chairman, VJIM. The greetings of the Onam was conveyed by Director Dr George AP, Administrator Rev. Fr Jinu Vadakkemulanjanal. Programmes were coordinated by first year MBA students.
The Institution Level Convocation- Encaenia2015- was conducted on Aug 18th, 2015 at Vimal Jyothi Auditoriumat VJIM campus. Dr. John Joseph - Syndicate Member, Kannur University- offered the keynote address about ‘the relevance of proper management in the prosperity of the world’. Institute Chairman Rev. Fr Geo Pulickal chaired the function, Rev. Fr Jinu Vadakkemulanjanal welcomed all gathered, Rev Fr Joy Kanivelil -Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Asst Prof Mr Anoop Scaria, Miss. Deepika Shenoy- students representative addressed the gathering. Dr George AP- Director- led the Convocation oath. All the graduating students with their parents, teachers, and student community appreciated the function.
The 2nd IAT of 2nd and 4th semesters will commence from 6th July 2015
Mr. Anoop Scaria & Mr. Prasad Thomas will be attending a two day Workshop on "Case Method of Teaching and Case Writing" organized by Case Research Society of India at CET School of Management, College of Engineering, Trivandrum on 2nd and 3rd May 2015.
