The Library possesses large number of books with different titles, Multimedia CDs, national and international journals, periodicals and local and national newspapers. This also has online databases such as EBSCO, J GATE, Questia, SAGE, DELNET and Global periodicals.
The library system supports the teaching and research programmes of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information consistent with the current and the proposed educational and research projects of the institute. The library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and the student community of the institute and to serve as a resource centre for the scholars and scientific community of the neighbouring areas.
Membership is extended to all the faculty and the students of the institute. Membership is also offered to the faculty members of sister concerns and research scholars from neighbouring areas.
Members of Faculty, Members of non-teaching staff and students can borrow 8 books, 2 books and 3 books respectively from the library at a time.

Reference material includes Encyclopaedias, dictionaries, Year books, selected books, theses etc.
The library follows open access system. Members will have direct access to the stack room and to the reading halls. They have the freedom to browse the books. The library follows Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme (22nd Ed.) for the convenience of members.
A number of on-line periodicals are available in the library besides a number of printed periodicals.
The library has more than 1000 books with different titles as on date. More books are being procured.
The library has 11 international journals and 22 national journals as on date besides having access to more than 1000 on-line journals.
A student can avail all the prescribed books for the concerned semester from the Book Bank. The student who wants to avail this facility has to pay 1/3rd of the total cost of the books in advance. They also have to return the books to the library after the completion of the said semester.
New arrivals will be displayed on the board. Students can reserve the book in advance. Books will be made available to the students in order of their reservation as soon as the book is ready for circulation.
The library is automated with DelPlus software developed by DELNET. The centre is member of the INDEST-AICTE consortium.
The library has subscribed research databases such as EBSCO Elite, Questia etc. It is in the process of subscribing more databases for the use of students, members of the faculty and researchers.
The library uses Greenstone digital library software for our digital library services. The library is in the process of installing Dspace Software for our institutional depositary services.Login to Digital Library
