Placement and soft skill training for the final years is scheduled from 8 Jan- 10th, 2022 Resource person: Muhammad Ikon, Mentor and skill trainer Place of training: VJIM and VJEC campus

A weeks Hands on training on Data analysis and ICT tool were scheduled from 7th Jan 2022. The program covers the training on ICT tools, Excel spreadsheet analysis and SPSS. The program is arranged in distributed manner to ensure the deep learning with practicals.

Combined Christmas celebration was conducted on 23rd Dec, 2021. The event was coordinated by student team from 2020-22 and 2021-23 batch.

2days Induction program for the freshers (2021-23 batch) is conducted from 1 Dec to 2nd Dec, 2021. The career guru and mentor Mr Prasidh Prakash provided the induction training and professional grooming for the first year students.

5days Social sensitization (Gramadharshan-2021) residential camp conducted from 26th November to 30th November 2021. The residential camp was organized in association with NGO TSSS, Malabar Cancer Center, OISCA international, Charis school, Mattrara parish and Ulickal Gramapanchatath (LSG). Students of 2020-22 batch conducted cancer survey, facilitated cancer awareness program for the public, cleaned the river from plastic wastes and supported the sustainable agriculture for the Charis School, Mattara

Onam celebration conducted on September 4th at 10am on virtual mode. Varieties of competitions and programs were organized.

The first project under the VJ Consultancy and Research Service (VJCRS) was the 'Census data Collection and Analysis' of the Archdiocese of Thalassery and the project is almost completed. Our students and allocated staff of VJCRS could support the framing of the survey, questionnaire testing and tool development, enumerator training in multi-staged manner, data collection and its analysis. The Web app was developed by the VJEC Team and successfully deployed. We have collected the data from around 2,40,000 members from 56300 families spread across Kannur and Kasaragod revenue districts. The final analysis is to be completed. The appreciation of the grand success of the project and the award distribution for the supporters will take place on 27th March, 2021 at 12.50pm at Varikattu Hall, after the photo session of the Passing out ceremony. There was excellent budget analysis from eight groups who highlighted the different aspects of the Union budget-2021 and its foreseen impact on the Indian economy. The analysis presentation sessions were moderated by Dr. Jaison Joseph, EKNM Govt. College, Elerithu on 18th Feb 2021. Dr Thomas Michael, Principal and Fr Genimon V Joseph, Vice Principal made initial deliberations on budgetary analysis.
